Fees / Government Funding - Free Child Care
Government funding is available for all children aged 3 and 4, from the term after your child’s third birthday. At present, you are entitled to 15 hours free childcare per week and you may also be eligible for 30 hours extended funding, for which you must apply. To check if you are eligible for extended funding, please visit https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/ ; if you are eligible please see the table below for guidance on when to apply.
You can apply from when your child is 2 years and 36 weeks old.

You can apply outside of these recommended dates but you might not receive your code in time. You must have a valid code by the end of the month before a new term starts.
The hourly charge if attending over 15 hours (or 30 hours if eligible) is £5.50 per hour, which is payable in advance on ParentPay.
