In English, the children have planned and produced their own non-fiction texts, following the same structure as 'The Street Beneath My Feet'. The children have included headings and subheadings within their work. It was great reading all of their work!
In Maths, the children have continued to explore fractions, they have compared and ordered non unit fractions and worked out fractions on a number line.
In Geography, the children have looked at states of matter before learning about The Water Cycle. The children have learnt how the water cycle is a vital part of rivers.
To celebrate the wonderful event of World Book Day, the children had a workshop with Alex Winstantley, from Happy Smiles. The children read, created book marks and doodled what reading means to them! It was wonderful seeing the children dressed up!
