To begin the week we had our Drama lesson with Mrs Jones, it is always wonderful to see the children expressing themselves in different ways! All the children are able to take on different characters within the play, A Midsummers Night. The children are able to follow scripts well. The children have looked at different ways to add expression within a play.

In Maths, the children have continued to explore length & perimeter. They have looked at: equivalent lengths (cm and mm) comparing lengths, adding lengths and subtracting lengths. The children were able to work out the perimeter of different shapes and learnt how only closed 2D shape has a perimeter.

The children also have taken part in Mental Health week- all of the children loved our Mental Health workshop!

In DT, the children have sewn their bags together using the over stitch and running stitch to do so. The children will be completing these on Monday!

In Science, the children have explored what fossils are and the process of fossilisation.

In Geography, the children have explored different features of rivers and why rivers are located in the centre of cities!
