Y3P 4/4/25
Date: 4th Apr 2025 @ 10:06am
Another busy week to end the Spring term in Y3P!
In English, the children have worked hard on producing a setting description of Cairo! They included, prepositional phrases, expanded noun phrases and exciting starters.
In PE, the children worked well in pairs whilst completing orienteering and following the map correctly.
In Science, the children explored magnets and the poles on a magnet. They could identify what causes magnets to attract and what causes magnets to repel.
In History, the children have explored the three Ancient Egyptian legacies: hieroglyphics, papyrus and the pyramids. The children are able to explain how they have impacted life today. The children have also produced a double bubble comparing the differences and similarities between cave paintings and hieroglyphics.
In RE, the children explored values, skills and talents of being a successful person. They then thought about who inspires them to be a better person and why. It was wonderful reading and listening to all of their responses.
In Computing, the children have been creating their E-Books on Steve Jobs!
Thank you for all of your hard work throughout the Spring term. I wish you all a fun and safe Easter Holidays! See you all on Tuesday 22nd April.
