Date: 10th Feb 2025 @ 11:54am
Another half term completed in Y3P! Thank you for all of your hard work.
In Drama, every child performed a short section from the play 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' each child played the role of either: Puck, Oberon, Titania or Bottom. It was great to see their creativity and characterisations in play and how they incorporated this into their performances.
In Maths, the children have measured and calculated different perimeters of different 2D shapes.
In English, the children explored the poem 'My Mother saw a Dancing Bear' the children analysed the poem, labelled different poetic features of the poem and also created their own poem, following the same style.
In Geography, the children continued to explore features of rivers, in particular meanders and how they are formed.
We have had a fabulous end to the week! It was wonderful to see all the children dressed up for Music Day, we sang, danced and played the recorder!
We had so much fun visiting the Palace Theatre in Manchester to watch Horrible Histories: The Egyptians!
Have a great half term!
