Another busy week completed in Y3P!
In Art, the children continued to practise sketching and painting trees and lamp posts, they will create then recreate in the foreground of their final pieces next week.
In English, the children continued to write their recounts in the role of Lou, when they arrived at the campfire. It was a pleasure to read their interesting and creative sentences throughout their work.
In Science, the children have been exploring how when one muscle contracts, the other relaxes. They explored how tendons are strong, stretchy tissue that attach the muscles to the bones. They also learnt how a joint is when two or more bones meet together.
In History, we have explored the differences and similarities between the Bronze and Iron Ages and how the houses developed as well as their skills.
In Personal Development, the children defined what friendship means to them and qualities of different friendship's.
In Spanish, the children explored different Spanish traditions throughout the Christmas period.
The children ended the week with Christmas karaoke with Mrs Jones at lunch time!
On Monday 16th December, we will be walking to St Wilfirds church to practise for the Christmas performance that will be on Tuesday 17th December at 6pm.
