This week in class, we've dived into some fascinating topics across our subjects!

In English, we read Chapters 3 and 4 of The Last Bear and followed April's adventure to Bear Island. It’s been thrilling to see the story unfold, and we’re getting a real feel for the harsh, icy setting and the special bond developing between April and the polar bear.

In Maths, we tackled squared and cubed numbers. We've not only learned how to find them but also mastered using them in various problems. It’s been great seeing everyone’s confidence grow with these new skills!

Science had us exploring some key chemistry concepts. We investigated solutes, solutions, solvents, and what it means for something to be soluble. Now, we can explain what happens when we mix different substances and why some things dissolve and others don’t.

Over in Geography, we’ve been looking at the North and South Poles, learning about their unique climates and the incredible wildlife that survives in these extreme conditions.

Finally, we spent some time evaluating our artwork. Seeing everyone’s pieces up on display is such a proud moment – each one shows creativity and effort.

All in all, it’s been a week packed with learning and exploration!
