In English, at the beginning of the week the children produced wonderful setting descriptions of 'The Dump' and were able to use exciting adjectives and prepositional phrases throughout their work.
In Science, the children learnt about nutrition and how humans and animals need nutrition in order to grow and stay healthy. The children then produced a graphic organiser on nutrition.
In Art, the children explored perspection and how it can be created using paint. The children created tints by adding white paint to red and blue paint, to show the process of making lighter shades of a colour.
In Spanish, the children have learnt to say how old they are and also went onto say how old their peers are.
We had a wonderful PSHE session with Sophie on Thursday, all the children were fully immersed and enjoyed looking at different scenarios. The children loved the interactive body parts and seeing the different organs inside the human body.
A gentle reminder about our school trip to Warrington Mosque on Tuesday 12th November and our Reading workshop at 5:30pm on Wednesday 13th November.
