What a week we've had in Year 5! 🎉 

First off, we've gone on a wild adventure comparing the North Pole and the South Pole. 🧊❄️ We discovered some mind-blowing facts about these icy places—like how the North Pole is surrounded by ocean, while the South Pole sits on a whole continent of ice. And did you know that penguins live in the south, while polar bears are in the north? 

Next, we’ve been flexing our creativity and imagination muscles in narrative writing. 📝 We've planned out our stories and started writing them. The ideas flowing from everyone have been absolutely fantastic.

Maths has been a fraction frenzy! 🧮 We’ve been continuing with fractions, comparing them, and getting to grips with some tricky concepts. It’s been tough, but everyone’s making great progress. 

And in DT, our sewing skills are truly shining through. 🧵✨ We’ve started our final piece—sewing temporary tacking stitches on our hats, getting them all ready to use the sewing machine. It's been so rewarding to see everyone's hard work come together in these lovely creations. Keep up the great work!
