We have had a brilliant week in Year 2!

In English, we have continued reading 'Daisy Saves the Day'. We discussed how Daisy felt when she was told she had to go and earn money for the family.

In Maths, we have been adding and subtracting 2-digit numbers using helpful strategies. We will be doing more of this in next weeks maths lessons.

In Science, we explored the difference between a want and a need. The children had to sort pictures into wants and needs and we discussed the choices we had made.

In Geography, we continued to look at London landmarks. We provided the children with a map of London and asked them to label Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, The London Eye, Tower Bridge and The Tower of London.

The children enjoyed another session in Forest School, learning and exploring in nature.

We have been doing lots of rehearsals for our Christmas performance. We are so impressed with how well the children have learned their lines. We can't wait to bring it all together with the costumes and lights.

We also ended the week by winning the platinum lunchbox and class points! What a brilliant achievement and very well deserved.

Have a lovely weekend!
