We had an amazing couple of weeks.
Before half term, the children had their very last drama session. There were lots of wonderful facial expressions and body language was used well to convey how their characters were feeling. The children created their own group pieces and performed them to the whole class.
The children had lots of fun on Music Day! There were lots of epic costumes showing a variety of artists and genres. The children used their knowledge of rhyming couplets to create their own songs. We were super impressed at the song writing!
We had an amazing time at the Manchester Palace Theatre watching the Awful Egyptians. The children were brilliantly behaved and learnt lots about our next History topic. They really loved being taken on the Ancient Egyptian journey, with half of it being in 3D!
In Maths, we have started to explore fractions. The children can identify unit and non-unit fractions fractions, explaining the difference bdetween them.
We have finally finished creating our drawstring bags in DT. The children threaded their drawstring through the tunnel and decorated it with their initial. The children were super proud of their textiles projects and are excited to take them home in the future.
We were very proud to take part in the 1KM charity run with Mr. Cartwright to raise money for Wigan and Leigh Hospice. The pictures show just how much fun the children had!
