🚀 Science: Air Resistance Investigation This week, we've embarked on an exciting science investigation to understand air resistance. We've been busy planning our experiment to answer the question: How does surface area affect the speed an object falls?

➗ Maths: Division Fun In Maths, we've started exploring division. We're learning different techniques to solve division problems and discovering how division is essential in our daily lives. It's been great fun practising our division skills and helping each other out in class.

🔧 DT: Cam Systems Our Design and Technology lessons have been all about cam systems. We've learnt how these mechanisms work and the different parts involved. From followers to cams and axles it's been great to see how these parts work together, ready to make our own cam systems.

✍️ English: Creative Writing Adventures We've taken a captivating journey back in time by writing diary entries as Anglo-Saxon monks during the first Viking raids on Lindisfarne. It was incredible to step into the shoes of these monks and imagine their experiences. Not only that, but we've also planned a flashback, writing about Gunnar's experiences from the night before, inspired by 'Viking Boy' by Tony Bradman. Our creative writing skills are truly shining!

🎾 Spanish: Let's Talk Sports In Spanish, we've been expanding our vocabulary by learning about different sports. From 'fútbol' to 'natación,' we're getting better at discussing our favourite sports and activities in Spanish. It's been really exciting to connect language learning with sports we love.
