Extra-Curricular Clubs

This week marked the beginning of the Spring term clubs and what a turn out we have had from the children. With an amazing 75% of children now engaging in after-school clubs (an increase of 13% from the Autumn term), the children have loved learning new skills and improving on existing ones. Mr Carr has had a big turn out for the cross-country club, with children running 3km on all terrains, looking to run in under 10 minutes. The boccia team have been practising hard for the upcoming event next week, and it’s safe to say they are ready to defend their title! Can they make it three in a row!

Tennis Star

Congratulations goes to Lyla (Y5) who once again has secured herself with another amazing win in the North West Tennis Championships, taking home the ‘Gold’ medal! A fantastic achievement from Lyla, who is one to definitely look out for in the near future!
