The excitement to begin using handwriting pens during our handwriting lessons was beaming throughout Y3P this week! All of the children tried really hard with their handwriting and presentation, it was wonderful to see how proud they were of their work!

In English, the children produced a diary entry from the perspective of Barney when he reunites with Stig after the baltic Christmas period. 
 
In Science, the children have learnt about the 5 food groups and the importance of having a balanced diet. The children are able to name: carbohydrates, protein, dairy, fruit and vegetables and fats and sugars. The children can also explain which each food group provides for the body.

In Art, the children have looked at how to paint the foreground and middle ground and the different paint brushes and brush strokes needed for each one.

In History, the children have continued learning about how they obtained food across the Stone Age and the tools used to do so.

In Spanish, the children have continued to practice naming items in their pencil case. En mi estocuhe tengo...
