We have finally reached the end of a very exciting and jam packed term! The children have been eager to learn and have shown enthusiasm towards the topics we have covered so far in Year 2. It has been a delight to see gow much progress the children have made and the pride they are taking in their work. 

This week, a pantomime group came and performed 'Snow White' which the children thoroughly enjoyed and laughed throughout. 

On Thursday, we had Christmas Party Day! We played games, made Christmas cards, visited Father Christmas in his grotto, played pass the parcel and all received an ice cream from the ice cream van! What a treat! We also enjoyed delicious Christmas Dinner at lunchtime! 

On Friday, it was pyjama day! We did some Christmas colouring, watched Christmas films and drank yummy hot chocolate with marshmallows. 

We have had a fantastic start to Year 2 and I can't wait to see what the new year will bring. Thank you so much for all the kind words and gifts, they are very much appreciated.
