We have now come to the end of our first full term together in Year 1! First, we would like to thank you all for our beautiful and thoughtful Christmas gifts.  

This week the children have finished leaning about 3D and 2D shapes and how they can be sorted.

In DT the children have all made their hand muffs and these are now on display in the Year 1 shared area.

In RE, the children have learnt all about the nativity and the meaning of Christmas to Christians. The children have enjoyed sequencing the story and finding out details about the different characters.

The children have enjoyed meeting Father Christmas this week, playing pass the parcel and finally chilling out with hot chocolate and a film.

We are all so proud of the progress the children have made in their first term and we look forward to welcoming them back in the New Year!
