The past 7 weeks have flown by, it has been wonderful getting to know you all and seeing you settle into Year 3!

This week has certainly been very busy!

In Art, we created our wall paper designs by painting and creating printing blocks to then print onto card! The children have then evaluated their artwork. 

In Music, the children explored Indian style music.

In English, the children finished our class text 'The Abominables' and were delighted when the yetis were reunited with their Father.

In Maths, the children have been subtracting and partitioning two digit numbers to help them when subtracting. 

In Science, the children have explored different types of Seed Dispersal and can explain how seed dispersal happens.

In Geography, the children explored changes in farming over the years due to population growth. They also looked at different types of seasonal foods and how religious festivals impact on which crops needs to be more readily available for people.
