Year 4 have worked extremely hard this week! Their hard work paid off by winning class points in praise assembly. 

In English, we have started our new texts of Greek Myths. We have explored the story or Icarus and Daedalus, analysing the characters and their intentions. We are really looking forward to starting our new class text ‘Who Let the Gods Out’ next week.

In Maths, we have continued working on column subtraction finding the most efficient way to complete the calculations, as well as solidifying our 6 times tables.

We have started our new topic in Art, focusing on Peggy Bjerkan.We have had lots of fun creating a double page fact file all about her and her famous art pieces. 

This week has been mental health awareness week, we have completed fun activities to raise awareness of this! A huge well done to the children who participated in the anti-bullying assembly, you should be really proud of yourselves!
