Welcome back to our Y3P blog!

This week has been anti-bullying week and each day the children have completed an activity linked to this years theme- RESPECT! 
It was lovely to see members of Y3P lead this weeks assesmbly.

On Tuesday, we had the pleasure of visiting the Warrington Islamic Association Centre, it was a great enrichment opportunity for the children to learn more about the Islamic religion they are currently learning in RE.

The Imam from the mosque was so impressed with the children's attitude and commented on how they were the best school he has had visit the mosque- this was wonderful to hear the children had represented Wood Fold so well!

In History, we created a time line of the Stone, Bronze and Iron Age. The children then learnt about the term nomadic and how hunter gatherers were nomadic people who moved from place to place in order to obtain their food.

In Science, the children researched different types of animals to see what type of eater they are. Then with the information they had researched, they created a Venn diagram on Carnivores, Herbivores and Omnivores.

In Spanish, the children learnt to describe items in their pencil case! Such as ruler, rubber, pencil, pen and highlighter.
