Hello Year 6 parents!
Here's what we've been up to this week:
English, Maths, Art, and History:
We have continued with Pig Heart Boy, problem-solving with fractions and exploring the work of our new focus artist: Ileana Hunter. We've also continued to explore settlements and lifestyles on Anglo-Saxon life in the UK. The children are really getting into these topics!

Science:
We conducted an experiment to see how exercise impacts heart rate and discussed the importance of heart health. The class loved planning their own experiment, then having to redo the whole thing when our original plan didn't quite work out! That's the fun of being a scientist!

School Events:
On Thursday, we were busy helping out at Open Evening and enjoyed welcoming potential parents to our reading workshops – thank you to all who attended!

Anti-Bullying Week:
This year’s theme was “Be a Buddy, Not a Bully.” Through assemblies and activities, we explored ways to support each other and keep our school a positive place.
