Welcome back to school and just in time for spooky season! After a lovely rest over half term, we have come back into school and returned to our learning units across the curriculum and put the finishing touches on a few units of work.

 

We have completed both our Geography and Science units. In completing Geography, the children looked in great depth at the country of Saudi Arabia. We studied the geographical landscape and compared this to that of the UK, and even had a visit from one of our Year 6 parents Mr Ismail, who took the time to share his experience of living in Saudi for seven years with the whole of the year group. Thank you again Mr Ismail!

 

In Design Technology, the children have worked to hard to finish their vehicle prototypes. After combining the engine and cab to the chassis and axles, we managed to create our very own electric-powered trucks. An amazing effort from all of you in Year 6 - well done!
