Welcome to the Y3P weekly blog!

During Sceince this week, the children completed a water transportation experiment to investigate how water travels throughout a plant. They then looked at what plants need to grow and survive.

In Georgaphy, the children explored different features of farms and looked at different farms to discover which features they had.

In RE, the children had a visit from Reverend Holliday.

In Art, the children explored the colour wheel, in particular complimentary and contrasting colours. The children continued to explore art work of William Morris and annotated examples of his work.

In English, the children have been planning and writing the next chapter of our current book, The Abominables, in the style of Eva Ibbotson.

The children have also been given the opportunity to apply for the School Council and Eco Warriors, the deadline for entries is Monday 7th October.
