We have had another great week in Y4 this week!

In English, we have been studying the poem The Spider and the Fly by Mary Howitt and have been examining the spider’s parlour and his intentions towards the fly. 

We have worked on fluency with subtraction and addition using the column method in maths, as well as learning our 9 times tables.  

We had a visitor in class with Harold the giraffe! Sarah talked to us about our amazing bodies and how we can keep ourselves physically and mentally healthy.

We have finished our brilliant cushions in DT, we have stuffed them with kapok and sewn them up. Now we are ready to evaluate them.

We have enjoyed a fantastic trip to Eureka in Liverpool where we experienced a ‘From chew to poo’ workshop. We were excellent at recalling everything we have learned in science about teeth and the digestive system!
