Speed Bounce

Our Year 6 children took part in the first intra sport competition of the academic year, which was speed bounce. Here, the children had 30 seconds to jump over a hurdle as many times as they could without stopping. Some brilliant scores all round from the children, with the average score being around the 40 mark. The winners will be announced in achievement assembly in the last week of the half term!

Year 6 Football Competition 

We would like to wish the Year 6 boys football team the best of luck heading into Monday's competition at Laithwaite Park! The team will be competing against 33 other schools from the Wigan area, playing in a champions league format. The boys will have to win the group stage to proceed further into the tournament. A full review of the tournament will be sent out next week. Good luck Wood Fold!
