Welcome back Y2M, I hope you all had a lovely break! 

We have made a fantastic start to the Autumn 2 term and have been working extremely hard. 

In Geography, we have been revisiting our learning from Year 1. We recalled the names of the continents and oceans. We then focused on The United Kingdom and were naming the four countries, capital cities and surrounding seas. 

In English, we have started to read our new text which is 'Queen Victoria's Bathing Machine'. We discussed the reasons as to why the Queen wanted to go for a swim and explored any new vocabulary. 

Throughout our Maths lessons, we have continued with our addition and subtraction topic. We have been focusing on our number bonds to 100.

Yesterday, we had the most incredible time in our Forest School session. We had fun exploring the forest and playing hide and seek. We can't wait for more adventures next week! 

To end an amazing week we also won the platinum lunchbox and enjoyed a biscuit as a treat for our snack. Well done Y2M, this was very well deserved after you have all worked so hard this week.
